When you register for IronMan, they put a wrist band on your wrist that will get you in and around the areas that you need to be in.
The fun part of that is walking around town looking at everybody's wrist. I would say that 97% of all the IronMan participants are easy to figure out. Most are fairly "skinny", males have shaved heads or very short hair, etc. It is the 3% that makes this fun -- you would never guess that they even had the thought of doing an IronMan. Those are the people that I think are great -- if you have all the athletic skills, then of course you can "attempt" an IronMan -- but how about those that don't have any athletic skills -- now that takes some courage.
Weather forecast right now calls for 91 degrees -- not to my liking...
