Some see it red some see it black

On the way up the elevator in the IronMan hotel, I was talking with a gentlemen regarding the forecasted temp's for Sunday. I was speaking in the "negative" manner regarding the 91 degree forecast and he was happier than can be that it was only going to be 91 degree's.

Guess I'll cross over to his side -- the only problem, I don't think Madison has been in the 90's all year. Hard to train for the heat when it isn't hot outside...

I believe one of the biggest "negatives" of heat - or cold ('06...) - is all the mental energy expended, especially before the race, worrying about it.

My $.02 - define your strategies - then put it away and prepare mentally for Ironman - without spending all the extra energy worrying about something you can't control.
