Ok, I had to write about my day today. See, my priorities just got out of whack. I just did not focus on what is important and what is not. I let down my guard and just went with the flow instead of fighting it kicking and screaming. It was just one of those days that I took my eye off the prize.
.
Today, started out pretty normal – planned on taking the kids to school, then having a nice breakfast with the Mrs. Team BRAZO in Madison, then getting back in time to complete a 40 minute bike ride on the trainer, then driving to the pool for my 500 yard swim, and then having lunch with Mrs. Team BRAZO, and finally picking the kids up from school. Sounds just about right to me.
Well, things did not go as planned. Instead of doing what I should be doing (IronMan training), I got stuck working on customer projects all day long. Ya, that’s right, I went to the left instead of the right – just didn’t focus on what I REALLY should be doing. I took the easy way out and thought more about how to feed the kids then doing what is most important and that is IronMan training.
I’m not sure what I was thinking to actually spend time billing my customers to pay the bills – is this a temporary let down or is this what is to come? Have I lost my mind?
I need to keep my eye on the prize and that is not feeding the kids but instead finishing IronMan Louisville. Damn customers…

hate to say.. you will finish IM-Lou..
So, feed the kids. IM would be easy if it was the only thing, but what fun would that be?

Ha, ha, ha -- some days I find myself having to work a too much harder at my vocation than at my avocation. "Damn" is right!
