Time to get serious again...

Ok, even though I started back on my IronMan training plan at the beginning of November, I really took it easy. If I needed to shorten a workout, I did it. If I needed to skip a day (not often), I did it. During the holidays I basically went with a 30-40 minute run every day -- plus my strength training.

Just like last year, I will be switching out the long bike ride in the winter months for the long runs -- in order to get ready for the Cinicinnati Flying Pig Marathon May 4th. I'll also be switching out one (1) swim day for three (3) strength training sessions per week (doing the Pump -n Run at the Flying Pig).

For January, I'll have about ten (10) hours per week. Long run will start at 10 miles and move up to 14 miles. The weeks are made up of two (2) swims, three (3) bikes, four (4) runs, and three (3) strength training.

Time to get back on the horse...
