Well, the last two days have been warm enough to do some training outside -- very enjoyable. I have a trail that I love to run on that is across the street from our house and runs along a river. No car traffic and very little walking/running traffic. The path will give me easily 6 miles and if I extend my run into a local town, then I can increase that to 10 miles without much problems.
My hamstring is still a little sore, but really little affect on my training. I like to train at a slow pace in order to stay away from injuries -- which outside of the hamstring here and there -- I have been injury free for a few years now.
Sunday I will get back on the IronMan training schedule. I always cut back on vacations and this week I was a bit busy with the business along with nursing the hamstring back. I'm looking forward to some road bike riding -- on the actual roads and not in the house.
Off to the Cottage for the weekend. April means that we fire back up the Hot Tub at the Cottage and enjoy sitting in the hot tub on the shores of frozen Green Bay or if the lake is open, then watching the thousands of migrating birds make their way North. We'll also head up to Sturgeon Bay and check out whats going on including taking a peak at our boat in storage up there.
Enjoy your weekend...

Hey buddy - what's that trail? Don't suppose you have a link to it or something, or a google map maybe?
Have a great weekend!
