I'm in that period of time in my training (went through this last year), where my training knocks me out. It is like being sick, but not feeling sick. Instead over the last week I have been falling asleep before Mrs. Team BRAZO (which is almost impossible to do normally). Once I hit the bed, I'm out.
I have to admit that I love this feeling. The reason why is because then I know that I'm progressing in my training plan. It forces me to start focusing on my nutrition and making sure that I get enough sleep. After about a week, then this feeling goes away and the training hours don't effect me -- until I make that next step in training hours -- 20+.
Spent part of the day following some "Bloggers" progress in IronMan Arizona. The temps were 95+ with winds of 25+mph -- not what I call fun. Just following along and reading some of their blog entries gets my motivation up just a bit.
Already thinking of what IronMan to sign up for 2009 -- a few choices....

Already thinking about IM 2009, before finishing 2008. (This is the sad thing about having to plan IM's 18 months in advance).
I can't believe how many fast people there were out there in that heat.. I would be toast.
As for training right now, you mean I'm not sick? I coulda swore I was.
