Well, we made it to Augusta Michigan for tomorrow's Xterra Last Stand. We went to the park and picked up our packets and checked out part of the course. Oldest Mini and myself took a quick ride on the MTB trails -- very fun. They had one part that was like a NASCAR race track, except for the fact that it went up and down but with high banked corners -- it was a blast.
The swim is in Eagle lake and even though it was blowing like crazy, the lake is small enough to not really have waves. The water temp is 63 degrees, so they reduced the swim from 900 yds to 750 yds -- I should only be 95% froze instead of completely froze -- thanks for the thought.
We are ready to roll...
