Today I completed a 70 minute run on the treadmill and a 40 minute ride on the bike. I know that some days your body feels great and you can go on forever and then other days it is hard to just get going -- well, today was one of those -- hard to just get going.
Even though I have been training ever since IronMan Wisconsin, I feel like I lost quite a bit of fitness at this point. Even though I'm able to get through the workouts -- the longer days just seem to be a bit hard.
Last week I picked back up on the IronMan Training plan which now includes some pretty hard days for this early in the year. I think my body is just getting back in the swing.
Even though it is a bit hard, I definitely enjoy the feeling of "pushing the body"...

Why do you think I'm "one and done" on IM. The second will be WAY harder. :)
