After spending the last 4 months on the treadmill, today I decided to change things up. Our Winter is still hanging on with highs in the mid-teens today, so indoor training was still needed.
I decided to do some stairs. We have a two (2) story house with a basement, so I decided to run up and down the stairs in the house for my workout. Started out doing about 15 complete up and downs, then a bit of a break and 5 more, then 5 more, then 5 more, and finally 5 more. It certainly kept my heart rate up there and made for a better workout.
The hard part was trying to not collide with Mrs. Team BRAZO as she also did some stair work -- I'm sure the neighbors think we are a few bricks short, but with this darn Winter -- we probably are a few bricks short by now.
Off to the Cottage for the weekend -- looking forward to some R & R -- and maybe some Broomball on the lake...
