I was born and raised on the east side of Madison and lived there for all of my childhood. During my very early days I had a neighbor down the street named Patrick Gallagher. I only have “lite” memories of that time, but I’m sure that I attended a few birthday parties along with many days playing at his house. The last time I remember “knowing” Patrick was when he moved to Oregon, WI to a new house. Not to give away my advanced age, but I remember watching the Million Dollar Man (or whatever that show was named) during a sleep over at his house.
Well, fast forward about 25 years and sure enough while listening to 105.5FM on the Madison radio – I hear a gentlemen on the radio named Patrick Gallagher. Well, thru some “listening” and some Internet research I put two and two together and found out that it was my friend from many years ago.
A few months ago while listening to him on the radio, I hear him discussing that he was doing IronMan Wisconsin this year. Not knowing if he’d have any idea who I was, I just followed his blog via 105.5FM’s website.
Well, today I pulled up his blog and there it was – check it out (I'm the Bobby/Bob/Robert in the story) – small world.
